Chiaroscuro

The technique of Chiaroscuro was something I learnt in HighSchool Art Class. Chiaroscuro is a technique artists used to show contrasts of light and dark in depicting depth of field in an object. Antelope Canyon is one of the best place for beautiful Chiaroscuro in photography. Carved in sandstone and water from millions of years, this Navajo reservation has beautiful scenes located in the depth of its narrow canyon spaces. The best time to visit this place is Noon, when the sun is right above your head giving dramatic light effects in the canyon. Here are some pictures of the place when i last visited.
