Self Portrait: Month March

For month March's Self-portrait I wasn't inspired for a while and didn't want to just throw something at you guys as a Self-portrait. I was finally inspired when I saw this wildflower field on a mountain side near my house. It took me some time to get out there to take this photo, waiting for right weather condition and all. So sorry for the delay but here it is! Enjoy and please give it your interpretation/comments! I enjoy reading them!

Spring is one of my favorite seasons. It gives me plenty of opportunity to use my Macro Lens with Flower blooms. But this year I also tried using my 50mm f/1.4 to give a lens blur effect in the flowers (as seen in the first picture). I really like the lens blur effect it gives to the photos and hope you guys like it too! :) Again, no Photoshop, but just right out of the camera. I know post processing is necessary but i don't own Ps/Lr yet! Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the color! takecarez and enjoy the blooms this year! Do check out my old posts of Spring from last year: A Wave of Spring 09.
