Self Portrait: Month July
A delayed self portrait because of so many things that happened this year. I really did feel lonely this year so here is a self portrait depicting that. Sometimes photography mirrors our emotions so this month i choose this topic. I know so many people do feel lonely but its mostly because of loosing trust with our friends and family. Anyways nothing more to be said. Take care! :)

Lightning Storm
I thought I would share these pictures in a different post. These shots are from the same place - White Sands National Monument. The thunderstorm was rolling in towards the end of the day and I decided to stay and try to capture lightning. Its hard to capture lightning since you don't know where they land, cant follow them and you don't want to get struck by them ;). It probably took a few dozen pictures of nothing...but when u capture one shot.... even if it wasn't that great...its sooo rewarding. So yay for the first time to experimenting and learning. Here are the results. Enjoy!

Moon Walk on White Dunes
The title says it all. It was a beautiful day at White Sands National Monument in New Mexico. White sands with distant blue mountains and beautiful puffy clouds on a blue sky, rainbows, lightning storm and an almost full moon rising..it really made me feel like i was on another planet or on the moon.
On our way to Texas from San Diego we decided to stay at Las Cruces, NM and spend a day at White Sands. It was beautiful day...hot (b/c its still in the desert)...but beautiful. The park was small so not many trails but it was out of this world kind of experience. I say this because it feels like you might be walking on the Moon. And to put more funk...NASA have their missile test range close by. Definitely a must visit place...i hope i get to go again! Enjoy the pictures!
